I had not realized that the Australian Speaker - Harry Jenkins - resigned in Nov 2011 when I caught this clip of his behaviour almost 1 year ago (it was posted July 9, 2011).
Here is the news clip of Jenkins resignation after 10 years as Speaker on Nov 23, 2011, with quite a bit of political horse-trading surrounding his replacement Peter Slipper that repairs slender balance of power for the Labour Government of Julia Gillard who still hangs by a thread.
