To show that the Americans were always looking forward to all eventualities,
these shocking plans were discovered some time ago and are part of a discovered stash of similar "hypothetical military plans". Countering the British Empire was Code Red - and it began with an invasion of Canada. Approximately 6 million men were envisaged taking part in the invasion beginning with Halifax NS. It was expected that a massive Navel battle would take place in the North Atlantic and it was anticipated that Britian would have suceeded Canada to teh USA in exchange for peace and retaining it's trade routes.
It was totally rejected by FDR.
Imagine how things would have been if it had ever been advanced.
