Swedish Prime Minister Olof PALME was assassinated evening of Feb 28, 1986. It was a shocking murder in that country unused to such violence and I believe it marked the death of the ideals of Social Democratic technocratcy worldwide - except it has taken a bit longer for many to realize.

White Rose - 70 yrs ago

On Feb 18, 1943 - the White Rose Movement - distributed their first pamphlets during the dying days of the Third Reich. As Nazi propaganda Minister Josef Gobels was called on the German people to embrace total war in his Sportpalast speech, two young resistance members - Hans and Sophie Scholl and Christoph Probst where seen distributing materials and arrested. They were found guilty of Treason and executed on Feb 22.

The remarkable thing is it is being resurrected.  On July 7, 2012 Susanne Zeller-Hirzel, who is now 91 years of age, resurrected the "White Rose" (Weiße Rose) along with 8 activists. The speaker in the video is Marc Doll, Federal Vice Chairman and founding member of the party DIE FREIHEIT, a civil liberties party (Bürgerrechtspartei) in Germany which advocates direct democracy. In the video Marc Doll addresses the thinking behind the establishment of the new White Rose resistance.

The new 'White Rose' has two principal messages to convey:

1. National-Socialism was a left-wing movement.

2. The Nazis are back again, today they call themselves "Antifascists.

Assination attempt on Danish "Free Speech" Journalist - Lars Hedegaard

Reports this morning confirm an assassination attempt on noted Danish "Free Speech" Journalist - Lars Hedegaard - Co-Editor of the recently launched online newspaper "Dispatch International".  Mr. Hedegaard escaped injury by acting quickly in evading the assassins 1st shot and his attacker's gun jammed on a 2nd shot before the man fled.   This occurred at Mr. Hedegaard home in Copenhagen at 11:31am local time.  Police suspect two men were involved.

This shocking news only underscores the number of murders which have targeted journalists/documentary film-makers who have been critical of Islamic incursions into Western society and remain opposed to those who advocate for imposition of Sharia Law in the West.

This infamous tradition has included martyred Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn in May 2002, the Nov 2004 stabbing of Dutch film-maker Theo Van Gogh (who was married to another MP and member of Fortuyn's splinter Peoples Party for Freedom and Democracy or VVD Ayaan Hirsi Ali)  Ms. Hirsi Ali was herself also threatened along with her parliamentary colleague who took over leadership of VVD, Geert Wilders.  Both Mr. Wilders and Ms. Hirsi Ali (who now resides in the U.S) live under round-the-clock police protection - just as (now) British writer Salman Rushdie and Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard (who survived a murderous attack in Jan 2010) - as does another Swedish cartoonist, Lars Vilks - who was assaulted and threatened with death in Nov 2010.   In Nov 2011 the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo was also totally destroyed in a firebombing for printing cartoons that mocked Islam.

Police State

There have been a couple of incidents recently where the cops have taken the "easy route" over the "right route" in siding with law-breakers - in an attempt to pacify their protests.

"Idle No More" - where Native groups acted with impunity and threats against anyone who did not agree with their ridiculous demands - often leading to more disruptions and illegal activity.

Here was how OPP Chief Chris Lewis responded to criticism about their lack of enforcement in Ontario.



The problem as I see occurs when other groups - who attempt NOT to disrupt public roads/throughofare's etc. - ARE arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law - often for nothing more than exercising LAWFUL rights of assembly.  This is an unacceptable double standard that gives-in to the bully's behaviors while abusing the rights and goodwill of law abiding citizen

Exhibit 3 - Despite the repeal of the Long Gun Registry, Ontario's Chief Firearms Officer Chris Wyatt has concocted a bureaucratic ruse to impede legitimate gun owners enjoyment of their fire-arms. I suggest all this does is enrage the very people who are most likely to SUPPORT them.  Ezra suggests this fellow needs to be hauled in front of the court for show-cause hearing about why he should not be charged with Contempt of Court for this illegal obstruction.
